I believe Joel Olsteen is a fraud.

I never heard of this fruit loop until I stumbled upon him on Larry King last night. I was planning on turning off the TV to go to sleep after having a little snack but when I heard what he was spewing, I couldn’t believe it.

I am no expert on Christianity, but I know the basic tenants, one being that Jesus was born the son of god and died so that our sins may be forgiven. Not once throughout the entire 45 minute was this mentioned, I don’t recall Jesus being mentioned whatsoever. There was no discussion of the gospel and the closest Mr. Olsteen got to scripture whatsoever was a couple passing mentions of Abraham wandering round with lots of money. So, no real New Testament scripture was discussed. This sort of threw a red flag. Why only discuss Abraham? It seemed if anything that Mr. Olsteen is a rabbi not a Christian preacher.

He has a mega church (six-flags over anything but Jesus type thing) in Texas with a congregation of tens of thousands. He fills an arena every week. These misguided sheep amaze me. Can these particular followers of Christ (as Christians tend to be) really believe that what he is preaching is Christianity?

Of topics discussed last night it seemed Mr. Olsteen was placed on Larry King’s show to convince the American brain dead public to do nothing, about anything. The current economic situation was explained by Olsteen as something one must not even concern them selves with. The whole thing will just work itself out; Christians need not bother concerning themselves with it as it’s not of concern. (Nothing to see here, please move along)

The red flag for me was instantaneously thrown as I could tell he was not going to mention the gospel throughout his interview. And when they directed questions to his wife, well, she’s not even worth discussing so I’ll skip that part.

So unlike Mr. Olsteen, Let me offer some versus:

John 10:11-18 (King James Version)
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Matthew 7:15:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Here's Olsteen dodging the gospel:

Once again!

I wouldn't have a problem with this guy if he'd change his job title to "self help seminar nit-wit". Claiming to be preaching Christianity to a national audience without mentioning the gospel, salvation through Jesus Christ, and just about every core christian belief is just a tad offensive.

Until next time,

Keep up with the Joneses or you might be a terrorist.

It’s been a while since I put anything on here so I thought I’d give my loyal readership something to ponder. By the way, I figure Sarah won’t get “Spiro Agnew’d”, so there goes that idea. (loyal readers will know what I am talking about) Today, I offer an opinion that I have pondered a few times in the past.

Here in the good old USA, we live in a free country. We have more freedoms than any other country in the world. How many times have you heard that during your life? Now I will add to that idea with this: In the United States, all citizens are free to enjoy all the liberties afforded to you by the constitution, as long as you are and act like everybody else. You’re as free as you want to be as long as you are the same!

If you look a bit different than most people, you’re basically still the same, so I’m not talking about that. You’ve seen that young confused American with tattoos and blue hair and 47 earrings of which only 3 are in his/her ears. Is that person different? I would say, probably not. They more than likely still watch popular television programs, drive a similar car, work in similar places and eat similar food as the rest of us. They are the same; it’s just a different wrapper on the outside. Now let’s look at the truly different people. How about the Amish? They’re surely different, but they’ve been around for a while so we typically leave them alone as far as I can tell. They’ve even been glorified in movies.

Mormons are a bit different, but they have had to change their ways considerably since their start. I won’t pretend to know much about them, but I do know that when a few of them go back to what seems to be their roots, they are now a “cult of weirdoes” and their children get taken away from them. Is it for the government to decide how people live their life in the freest country in the world? I may not like what they do, but who’s place is it to tell them how to live?

What about Randy Weaver? He decided to move to Idaho and home school his kids. He might have had a bit of a different perspective on things that the typical American, but again, who’s place is it to tell him how to live? His wife and son got killed by the government because they were different. Did he deserve this fate in the land of the free?

What about Waco, those people were different too. I guess they needed to die for that.

There’s also the “speak ‘merican or git” crowd. I can understand the need for most people to speak the same language, but should it be required in the freest country in the world? I grew up in Miami, knew very little Spanish, but I managed to make it. I don’t give a damn if someone learns English or not. If they don’t, it’s their business. Most immigrants, that are planning to stay around, do learn English.

In my view, anyone should be aloud to be as weird / different as they want, as long as they aren’t interfering with others that are living their life in the manner they choose. It’s my plan to continue to live in the typical American life, but I do this of my own accord due to the influences throughout my life. I don’t feel like being too different so I’ll stay the same. We should be free to be exactly like our neighbor, or extremely different from them. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the reality when one becomes too different.

Will Sarah Palin get “Spiro Agnew’ed”?

Will Sarah Palin get “Spiro Agnew’ed”?

If McCain wins, will Palin Get “Spiro Agnew’ed”? It’s possible and I’ll now explain why. First off, the rise of both Palin and Agnew are very similar. Agnew was in politics for only 6 years until he gained the Vice Presidency, starting as a county executive in Maryland. According to wikipedia, Nixon wanted Agnew out for political reasons. He would resign the Vice Presidency because of issues stemming from corruption charges in Maryland. Nixon was planning to insert John Connaly as Vice President under provisions of the 25th amendment but Connaly refused and Ford was appointed. Oddly, John Connaly was a democrat while the Nixon/Agnew ticket was republican.

I find it odd that Agnew was given the Vice Presidency nomination in the first place. Surely these corruption charges would have been known before the nomination. As it turns out, the motivation behind the nod was that Agnew would attract southerners, something Nixon had trouble doing.

Let us fast forward. Palin is now famous for her incredibly fast rise in politics, although not as quick as Agnew. She’s also got some serious corruption charges, but that’s okay, she’s doing a great job attracting Hillary girls, and other brilliant American voters. She looks good with a rifle in her hand and she hunts and fishes. How could that do anything buy propel McCain in the polls?

Now you’re asking why I think she’ll get “Spiro Agnew’ed”. It’s almost like a déjà vu, except I was too young to remember the earlier scenario. As most thinking persons are aware, Palin isn’t really qualified and McCain has one hell of a buddy that would no way in hell help him win the presidency. This is Joe Lieberman the former democrat now independent. If McCain wins the election, I’d expect the corruption charges in Alaska to esculate to such a degree that Palin is forced to resign and McCain can then appoint Lieberman. I hope I’m wrong (about McCain even winning). I endorse Chuck Baldwin.

Here’s the 25th amendment section that states how he can legally do it:

Section 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

Is this the start of something big?

Here’s something that’s none of our business but everyone should be educating themselves on. This situation could very well lead to WW-III or as Zbigniew Brzezinski would call WW-IV. (He called the cold war WW-III).

Our media is reporting that Russia just got a wild hair up their ass and attacked Georgia (not our Georgia, dummy) for no reason; on the eve of the Olympics no less! I though that to be fishy so I decided to look into it further. There is a good way to get other sources of news, and that of course is independent media which is widely available through the Internet. Here’s a website that has TV channels from around the world.
http://wwitv.com/portal.htm

Have a look around that page for other views.

Here’s how I understand the situation going on in Russia. Georgia was part of Russia (USSR) as it has been off an on as far back as you can look in history. South Ossetia has been part of both and all together as one country. After the fall of the USSR, Georgia held on to South Ossetia. Recently South Ossetia declared by something like 98% to gain independence. Georgia struck South Ossetia to regain control of their capitol on the 7th of August 2008. Since South Ossetia and Ossetia (north of it, but in Russia) are the same ethnicity, Russia came in to help or for “peacekeeping”. Refugees are flooding into Russia as this conflict goes continues.

Next, is the part our media discusses (Russia attacking for no reason they stated) and weather or not we should intervene in this situation. I don’t think there is any reason to intervene even though there are pipelines owned by B.P. in the area. What is it about B.P. and sensitive politics anyway? Incidentally I came home during lunch today to find the media (CNN) discussing these pipelines.

This is a regional conflict that needs to be handled by the countries involved. Taking sides in this conflict would be unwise as the conflict would only grow. Georgia’s president seems to be counting on cooperation from NATO even though as of today Russia claims they have accomplished their goal (whatever that really was I yet don’t know) and are backing out. Mikheil Saakashvili (Georgia’s president) today stated that Georgia will never surrender, whatever that means.

The best case scenario I could see, would be to watch this one from the sidelines and aid no side whatsoever. After all, wouldn’t it be hypocritical to denounce one country entering another country to engage in hostilities weather or not it was “preemptive”. Also, history shows that western countries interfering with eastern European countries, leads to massive global problems.

The worst case scenario would be something like NATO or the E.U. or USA and Israel siding with Georgia. I don’t see any possibility of a western country siding with Russia. I do, however see countries like Iran, India and China taking sides with Russia because of the strong economic ties these countries share. If this was to happen and it won’t happen unless Georgia is supported, it will lead to WW-III. I guess those awaiting the Rapture will be cheering acceleration of this situation.

If you want another take on this situation, check out my friend Ry*n's blog.

The thought process of the American voter is scary.

Must see video of absolute dumbasses...
Take a few minutes to entertain yourself with these vids....

In this first video, we have typical beach goers explaining why they are voting for whoever it is they like.

MUST SEE TO BELIEVE how willfully ignorant these people really are
(are you one of them?)

By popular demand, here is a follow up video.
Ron Paul voters asked the same questions Of course, they knew all of the policies

...and now What is this "CHANGE" we've been hearing about

So, you see, basically, if you voted for anyone other than paul, you're right in line with these friggin morons that are helping to ruin our country with their willful ignorance. Maybe it's time to wake the hell up? Maybe? a little?

Do a little research on the other candidates running for office and consider their platforms. McCain and Obama are candidates that to me, offer little "change" and seem to be more concerned with corporate policies than such pesky ideas of following the constitution and ensuring our liberty. Once you are able to get out of this left/right democrat/republican paradigm, you will see they they are nearly the same with only superficial differences in agendas. I've heard the phrase these two parties are "two wings on the same bird". I agree with this.

I'll most likely be writing in my candidate if there's that option on the Alabama ballot.

Vote the bastards out, all of them!

Vote the bastards out, all of them!

When I first reached voting age, I found myself voting against any and all incumbents. At the time I didn’t have the ability to express the motivation for doing so, but recent elections have made the issue clear.

We live in a shameful time of popularity and name recognition. It is plainly obvious just being at the checkout of the local mega corporation “corner” pharmacy, CVS, Rite Aid, whatever. You see the same names on all the rag gossip magazines time after time. I never really understood how these magazines make money. I never met anyone that would admit to having purchased one. I digress, but for a reason; name recognition is killing our country.

When elections are near; one of the most popular mind numbing tricks the candidates and media use on the public is their opponents “elect-ability”. That’s propaganda for name recognition/popularity. This issue supersedes real issues such as the candidates’ stances on issues of importance. Right now we have a choice between two people who offer no real difference between each other.

Here’s a video comparing Hillary, McCain and Obama or “McHillBama”. To Ron Paul, it’s only two minutes, so check it out to see what I am talking about.

Back to the subject, We need to vote the bastards out. How long have your state's senators been rotting away our constitution up there in D.C.? I’m guessing you can’t remember when they weren’t there. Here in Alabama, the “Junior” senator has been in place for 11 years. While that pales in comparison to some being senators and congress(wo)men for more than 20 years it’s a bit too long in my opinion.

Rarely, a bill is introduced to congress to establish term limits, the bills never pass.

Why should we vote the bastards out? Many reasons come to mind, and I’m sure you can think of many yourself. These senators and congressmen really seem to lose the grasp with their constituents the longer they stay in D.C. Just look at the case of Blair Gadsby out in Arizona hunger striking to meet with McCain. McCain will not agree to meet with him. This hunger strike is taking place right out front of McCain’s Arizona office, so it’s not really out of his way.

There’s no doubt in my mind that career politicians develop something other than a sense of obligation to the Unites States and the people they represent. Looking at the laws passed in the past hundred years, one would have to agree that corporations seem to have taken control of our representative government. I can’t think of one law that was passed on the federal level that actually benefits the idea of individual Liberty.

If we kept a fresh group of people in Washington, corruption would decline immensely, In fact, the mere attempt of establishing a lobbyist/representative relationship based on corruption would be much more obvious to the public. As the system stands now, the pressure on a newly elected representative by established members to vote in a certain manner must be intimidating. Are ya with me? Maybe I’m rambling, but if everyone were new, every 4 years the cycle would produce a fresh group and honesty would prevail. Sure; there’d be a lot more former members of congress participating in their very lucrative retirement program, but maybe they’d even change that program to be more realistic.

Serving the American people should be done out of a willingness to give your efforts back to the country, not a sense of greed to steal from your countrymen.

My email to Rick of "Rick and Bubba"

Rick and Bubba are radio morning show hosts that I have on when my alarm clock goes off so I wake up quickly and turn the alarm clock off. On a daily basis they spew religious rhetoric and pro war propaganda to their loyal and learned [not really] audience. Today, Rick was going on about the week or prayer, or day of prayer, whatever it was and was praising the troops for protecting us from the boogey man, I mean the terrorists. I decided to write Rick and ask him some questions. He probably won't read this, but at least it is written. So here it is...

Rick,

You seem to agree with Mr. Bush's foreign policy. As a former member of the Marine Corps (but really someone that reads a lot of foreign policy books but the marine corps part seems to garner more respect) I can tell you that anything we are doing right now is not protecting the United States. It is protecting globalists bankers and making them richer.

Let me offer you a few quick facts as to why we are where we are today.

1953 US and Great Brittan overthrows the democratically elected government of Iran and installs the shaw. He rules as a tyrant until 1979 when the Iranian revolution happened. Yeah they took some hostages, but how many people died in our engineering of the coup? We'll never know.

The reason for this was that BP wanted to get all the oil in Iran for free. Iran wanted to make a little money from it. HOW DARE THEM.

Now you're probably tired of reading this already but I must ask W.W.J.D.? You spew religious rhetoric constantly on the air yet you seem to be providing disinformation to your listeners. W.W.J.D.? Probably not that.

If I may suggest some further reading before you go on about how marvelous the troops are abroad protecting our Über elitist scumbags that run this country.

To: You Global Warming Believing Dummies

1. They say there's too much CO2 and we need to reduce it because it is bad for the earth.

2. The way they want to do this is a global tax.

3. CO2 is carbon dioxide that TREES and PLANTS breathe. What happens if you reduce CO2? The trees and plants can't breathe so they don't. Then they don't give us Oxygen and we die. Wake up! At least in the 1980's they're were screaming about Carbon MONOxide, which does make a little sense.

4. I think the globalists are just trying to see how stupid people really are.

CO2 = bad, my ass.

From wikipedia to the dummies:

Photosynthesis is the conversion of light energy into chemical energy by living organisms. The raw materials are carbon dioxide and water; the energy source is sunlight; and the end-products are oxygen and (energy rich) carbohydrates, for example sucrose, glucose and starch. This process is arguably the most important biochemical pathway,[1] since nearly all life on Earth either directly or indirectly depends on it.

The Hypothesis of the NASCAR Jacket

This is an old blog that I posted on myspace a while ago. It has been placed here upon request. A little light hearted blog.

Please visit my Youtube page sometime today!

I've been noticing a lot of black people lately wearing NASCAR jackets and hats. I first noticed a year or two ago at the grocery store. This guy had a Jeff Gordon Dupont jacket on. So I commented something about him being a Gordo fan. He looked at me like I said something about wanting to kick his dog. I guess he wasn't a Gordon fan.

Yesterday we went to Ryan's house of gluttony aka steakhouse buffet. BIG MISTAKE, but I digress…

I noticed this little black baby with a NASCAR jacket on. I said to Beth, I says, "He's got him a little Mark Martin jacket on. I said loud enough that the parents being obviously Mark Martin fans would acknowledge my remark with a thumbs up or something. I got nothing. They didn't react in any order. This lead me to believe that the wearing of NASCAR hundred dollar jackets with product endorsements all over them by African-American is a very ironic fashion phenomenon. I became intrigued.

With Ryan's being, well, Ryan's, I had plenty of test subjects for testing my hypothesis. Quickly I noticed a man in what appeared to be in his mid twenties. He was wearing not only a Tony Stewart/Home Depot/Coca cola/ on and on, endorsement NASCAR official jacket, he was also wearing a #20 Tony Stewart / Home Depot beanie hat, aka skull cap.

If any guy was going to be a fan it was going to be this guy I thought. I see the guy walk over to the buffet, so I grab me an empty plate and head that way. As I'm slopping some nasty instant mashed potato crap onto my plate I asked this guy if he had any knowledge of who won the bud shootout last night.

Let me take a second to stop this story and let everyone reading know that last night TONY STEWART won the bud shootout.

This is a no brainier, If this guy was even a half assed # 20 / Tony Stewart / Home Depot / Coca Cola / NASCAR fan, he's going to give me some sort of "Ohh PASTA TONY ALL DA WAY!!" or some shit. This guy has all the regalia on, he is Tony's numero uno fan right?

He looked at me like I said "I like to fill my shoes with these here mashed potatoes and then squish them between my toes". Then he walked away, therefore qualifying my hypothesis. I do believe we now have a working theory.

There is a book I have read recently by Naomi Klein called "No Logo" which explains the principals behind "branding" and how to make a brand more important than a product. It sort of explains this hypotheses although NASCAR jackets are not the direct topic of the discussion within the book.

Truckers are Pissed

Truckers are pissed.

Today begins a short strike of independent truckers. All the pretty trucks are usually the independent drivers. They take pride in their machines and work long and hard on the road to be able to drive their own truck. Let me digress for a bit…

In the 1920’s we had an agriculture depression that preceded the depression brought upon to us by the wall street bankers. In the 1920’s the bankers went to the farmers and convinced them to buy tractors with credit and they would be able to multiply their profits. Well, that didn’t happen. All the farmers bought tractors and produced vast quantities which made the price of these products drop, thus making the profit margin increase to the farmer minimal. He couldn’t pay for the tractor and thus his farm ultimately got bought by a larger corporation. Now we have these mega corporations doing most of our farming and the independent farmer is hard to find.

That’s a very quick summary, but you can probably find more information on this should you research it on your own.

Here’s my point for today. The truckers now are really being pinched. They can’t buy fuel at the same rate as the bigger companies out there. The drivers for the large corporations don’t really feel this pinch like the independent trucker does. The independent truckers has to purchase his own fuel and pay what adds up to a head hunters fee sometimes as much as 20% just for someone finding him a load to run across the country.

The deck is stacked against him at this time and I really don’t think the big guys mind. The independent drivers, facing these high fuel costs, are having a hard time competing with the large corporations that compete for their business. I would not be surprised to see a large buy out of most of the independent truckers in the next few years.

Another big issue facing the truckers of the United States is the “Security and Prosperity Partnership" aka North American Union. To check into this go to youtube and search “Lou Dobbs SPP”

Here is a video:

With Mexican truckers running loads across our country, the price an American independent driver will be able to command on a load will drop to such a level that he will simply not be able to maintain the style of life that he has earned. This is just another example of how the corporate controlled government that we have, seek only to increase their profit margin at the expense of every American.

On the Issues of Our Time.

I’ve never fancied myself as any type of a writer, but here we go anyway.

UPDATE: My friend Shana, liked the blog so much she told me to start this blogging page.

This is a little story of how I got to be "me", and it may also describe how you got to be "you".

When I was a boy, my first real political memory was the election of 1980. This was Reagan, Carter and an Independent named John Anderson. I got a quick run down of the platform of Reagan and Carter from my father, but he didn’t have much info to offer me on John Anderson. After explaining to me that Carter was a democrat and Reagan a republican and Anderson being and independent, I was a bit confused as to why we only have two real choices. I watched the returns that night rooting for Anderson. I remembered that he won one state, but looking now, I cannot find this proof, but he did get 7.6%.

I was nine years old during that election. When I was finally old enough to vote, I found myself voting for third party or independent candidates (Perot and Nader come to mind). I never really knew why, but I felt that the democrat/republican choice was total bullshit, really.

Then came September 11th 2001; I was in Georgia and watched with horror the destruction of that day. I spent the next several days glued to the television watching every bit of coverage that came about. After a while I had been convinced that Muslims were evil doers and we need to go over there and kick some ass. Soon thereafter we found ourselves in Afghanistan kicking asses, then Iraq. Then "mission accomplished" was announced by the Bush administration and everyone felt very patriotic. Who didn’t have a US flag sticker on their car back then? "Chinese stickers took the place of ribbons on oak trees in your old town square". That is part of the lyrics to a song I would later write.

At this time, I was a typical American, I watched House, American Idol, 24, ESPN, and even "Wrastlin’". But something was still nagging me. I knew the two party system was bullshit, I knew Clinton spent the 90’s bombing the shit out of Iraq. I knew we always seem to be at war with third world countries, I knew oil must be involved in this case. I just didn’t really know. Then I saw a documentary that would change my life. It is by Aaron Russo (R.I.P.) and it is called "America Freedom to Fascism". You can watch it for free on Google Video.

After watching this, I started reading books on topics covering such things as Monetary Policy, Foreign Policy, Economics, War, and Corporations. I found that none of these books seem to contradict each other. To put it in a nutshell this is what I found. Our monetary system is illegally controlled by private bankers (the federal reserve) who are the same group of bankers that control the monies of the entire "free" world. Our corporations, incessantly abuse third world peoples to produce products as cheap as they can to sell to people in the "free" world who have lost their better paying jobs due to corporations shipping jobs overseas in order to save costs. Everyone seems to now work in the service industry in the USA. War is only for profit, and finally 911 was nothing but a lie.

What? Here’s a quick summary of that last statement. In 1956 we overthrew Dr. Mohammed Mossadegh during Operation Ajax and put in the Shaw (dictator). This was for Great Brittan’s oil company now called BP. See, Iran wanted to get paid for their oil and we didn’t want to pay her. That’s the tip of the iceberg as to our involvement in the middle east and you can surely read much more about it, but suffice to say that we have been over there raping the hell out of those lands and the people that live there get nothing from it. Countries like Saudi Arabia, that seem to like us are dictatorships on such a scale that Chris Matthews actually accused one of their crown princes on live television of being the "Taliban with a good PR program". Yes, we pay the rich Saudis handsomely for their letting us rape their peoples land.

Then there’s the whole cold war situation and our wonderful policy makers found a way to "give the Soviets their own Vietnam". This was Afghanistan. So our CIA trained Osama bin Ladin and we invented the Taliban, Mujahideen and Al Quida. All this is documented, you can look it up. After the soviets decited to quit, we left and Afghanistan remained in cival war. The warloards to the north wanted control and so did all the other factions we created there. All of whom were left with bitterness at our leaving them to such a mess.

During this same time we were funding Saddam Hussein in his war with Iran. We trained Saddam and helped him politically to become the man he was. We supplied him with all the weapons that we went to war with Iraq to find. When I say "we" I mean our wonderful policy makers. Did you know that right before we went to war with Iraq, Saddam made the fateful decision to start accepting Euros along with US dollars for payment of oil? Iraq does not accept Euros any longer for oil. Iran does now!!! As of 2005 Iran trades oil in Euros. Is it a bit ironic that all the war talk about Iran seems to have started about this same time?

It’s also a bit ironic that both of these countries didn’t have a privately owned central bank controlling the issuance of their money. A couple other countries in the same boat are Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea. Of course they are all in the "axis of evil". Have any of them ever actually done anything to us? Hugo Chavez had a freight ship sent to New Orleans loaded with goods to help out after Katrina; this ship was turned back by Bush. That didn’t make headline news.

I seem to be jumping around a bit so let me try to summarize quickly. It is my firm belief that our government had plenty of info about 911 and could have stopped it at any time. They let it occur in order to have a reason to go to war. Bush and Cheney refused to be interviewed separately by the 911 commission. That is almost proof enough for me. Come to think of it, how many lies has this current administration told us? A better question might be, "Have they ever told us the truth about anything?"

So now we have a political system that is controlled by massive global corporations and financial institutions and fueled by war. The same mega corporations that make a killing [sic] off war, are the same ones that lobby the government so hard that the line between the two has been erased. These corporations (banks included) also control the media and I’m talking control. I don’t have an exact number handy but you can look this up. Something like 95% off all media is controlled by less than 10 corporations. I’m talking radio, newspaper, TV, you name it. Kontrolled.

With the media obviously as compromised as our government, does anyone actually think they are going to give us anything but news that benefits their agenda? Anytime someone in the media has a minute of humanity and talks the truth, they are ousted. Ashleigh Banfield is one example of this; Dan Rather, another. The media marginalized Ron Paul to such a degree that even though he set all time fundraising records and then broke them, the dumb down American public didn’t vote for him, because the media said he could not win. Everybody I talked to would say to me "I really like his views but he can’t win". Where the FUCK did this attitude come from? Is this a new American Idealism? This sounds like giving up to me. So I must say that everyone who has this defeatist view of our political system, however warranted, needs to take their own reigns and cut loose from the reigns that the corporations hand down to us.

It is time to stop thinking our country is on auto pilot and that all these problems will go away. It is time to get involved and get learned on these issues. The media is not going to tell the truth to you. They are going to tell you their truth. Our forefathers risked their asses for us and we should not let their work be wasted by watching the television, and getting fat. Each and every one of us has, or should have, a duty to get informed about these issues, and become somewhat of a better citizen than Joe Six Pack. Our country is dumb down to such a degree at this current moment in history, that I fear we will accept anything that is handed to us. History shows that this mindset usually seems to lend itself to despotism, and I don’t want that. Won’t you wake up, and help others do the same?

Thanks
